Catherine Osborne is an award-winning editor, writer and communications strategist with an expertise in architecture, urbanism, design and the visual arts.
Based in Toronto, she is the former Editor of Azure, one of North America’s leading magazines of contemporary international architecture and design. For over a decade, she played a key role in transforming Azure into a multi-platform brand that now includes an international awards program, live talks and events, and robust social channels.
Catherine’s writing has been published extensively, and she has interviewed some of the most creative minds in the world, including architect Sir David Adjaye, Oki Sato of Nendo in Japan, and London product and fashion designer Faye Toogood. Prior to Azure, she was co-founding editor of Lola art magazine, and an arts and culture writer based in Tokyo, Japan. She is currently a board member of DesignTO Festival and MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto.
