My review of the 2014 Architecture Biennale in Venice summarizes the Dutch architect’s examination of building in the 20th century with his exhibit Elements of Architecture. The sprawling show illustrated how much the built environment has changed within a 100-year span, and it left visitors with the question of what should come next.

My review of the 2014 Architecture Biennale in Venice summarizes the Dutch architect’s examination of building in the 20th century with his exhibit Elements of Architecture. The sprawling show illustrated how much the built environment has changed within a 100-year span, and it left visitors with the question of what should come next. My review also highlighted five of the best pavilion installations hosted by Canada, France, Israel, Korea and the U.K.
